International energy services company, Wood Group (Aberdeen, UK), announced it will acquire Amec Foster Wheeler (London, UK) (ENR #5) in an all-share takeover deal worth about $2.7 billion. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing firm, Vanderweil Engineers (Boston, MA) (ENR #129), acquired The Procz Group (Langhorne, PA), a mechanical and electrical consulting firm specializing in the design of healthcare facilities. Link to details
Art Castellanos AIA Architect Inc. (Fort Myers, FL) and Jason P. Tramonte, Architect Inc. (Cape Coral, FL) have merged. The new company will be named Castellanos + Tramonte Architects and will specialize in commercial design. Link to details
ENR's #89 ranked global design firm, Assystem (Paris, France), acquired a 100% interest in Automotive Solutions Germany GmbH (Samerberg, Germany), a company specialized in the design of automotive lighting systems. Link to details
